Fragment of the middle part (closer to the top according to Piana Agostinetti 2004: 156) of a rectangular stela which had been used as a weight for a wire in a vinyard, possibly found in the early 1930s when digging a well behind the church San Rocco (Tibiletti Bruno 1997: 139 after Gilardoni 1956). The find place of the stela lies along the route which connects the Valle del Vedeggio with Tesserete in the Valle Capriasca and Valle del Cassarate north of Lugano (cf. Piana Agostinetti 2004: 156). See the inscription page on suggestions for the typological/palaeographical dating.
