Commentary

Find site in the hill range south-west of Como, ca. 500 m southeast of the Via Isonzo site (Prestino). Sector A encompasses a stretch of sandstone rock with petroglyphs, sector B a settlement dating to Golasecca II and III (6th–mid-4th century BC) and late La Tène structures (two tombs and a votive deposit). Inscription finds are only known from the late La Tène contexts. See Negroni Catacchio 1979 and Negroni Catacchio 1982 for an overview and the latter especially on the La Tène material.
