Commentary

Find site in the hill range south-west of Como, ca. 500 m southeast of the Via Isonzo site (Prestino). Sector A encompasses a stretch of sandstone rock with petroglyphs, sector B a settlement dating to Golasecca II and III (6th–mid-4th century BC) and late La Tène structures (two tombs and a votive deposit). See Negroni Catacchio 1979 and Negroni Catacchio 1982 for an overview and the latter especially on the La Tène material.
