The unpainted olla (type 2) comes from grave 383 of the Giubiasco necropolis (Pernet et al. 2006: 318). The grave complex is described in Tori et al. 2004: 330 f.; on the classification of the object see Pernet et al. 2006: 226, 265, cat. 92. See also Ulrich 1914 I: 642.

The dating follows Pernet et al. 2006, who date the object typologically to LT C2–D, and the coherent grave complex to LT D; De Marinis & Biaggio Simona 2000: 461, no. 528 give the 2nd–first half of 1st century BC.
