The reading {{w||kas}} is suggested by Morandi based on the drawing in Simone. Kappa and alpha seem clear; the third letter looks like three-stroke sigma, but cf. [[VA·7]] and [[VA·8]] from the same necropolis with four- and five-stroke sigma. Assuming that the reading is correct, the sequence may be an abbreviation of a personal name (see the word page). In same grave was found [[VA·11]].<br />
