Inscribed in clearly legible letters on the foot of the patera. Possibly an abbreviation of a personal name (thus Morandi); see the word page for other attestations of the sequence ka. At the same necropolis are attested another instance of ka (VA·24) on the foot of an unglazed patera and kaio (VA·27) on the bottom of such an object, all dated to La Tène D – a workman's mark?
