Commentary
First published in Pattaroni 1964: 126. Examined for LexLep on 24th April 2024.
Image in Morandi 1999: 174 (drawing), Morandi 2004: 566, fig. 12.62 (drawing).
Inscribed in deeply incised and neat, if partly overlapping letters on the shoulder of the olpe (length of inscription about 4 cm). Initial lambda appears to have been executed too large, then made smaller by adding a bar higher up the hasta. Read Latin luxu by Pattaroni; reading corrected to Lepontic lutu by Tibiletti Bruno 1979: 263 with n. 35 (also Tibiletti Bruno 1981: 166, no. 13), thus also Solinas 1995: 373, no. 124, Morandi 1999: 174; see also Morandi 1999b: 321, no. 12.
