Inscribed on the outside bottom near the foot according to {{bib|Morandi 2004}}. Bianchetti read {{w||eu}} as in [[VB·9]] (also {{bib|Kretschmer 1905}}: 98, no. 8, {{bib|Rhŷs 1913}}: 60, no. 8); Whatmough {{bib|PID}} 116 f., no. 312 bis read ''ea'' (also {{bib|Tibiletti Bruno 1978}}: 144; {{bib|Solinas 1995}}: 378, no. 137 gives both options). According to {{bib|Morandi 2004}}, the putative bar of alpha is a "segmento obliquo" connected to upsilon, which he tentatively identifies as iota ({{w||eui}}).
