Inscribed upside-down on the bottom of the patera (length ca. 6 cm) between two decorative lines which run all around the vessel. The letters are very neat and well legible; the alphabet is Latin with little to no influence from North Italic writing. The form can be identified as the genitive of the Celtic personal name ''caledū'' (thus already {{bib|Volonté 2012}}: 728; see the word page for details).
