Commentary

In contrast to Morandi (Morandi 2004: 630) we do not count this inscription as "boustrophedon" since the two lines are both clearly sinistroverse and only oriented bottom to bottom (cf. Morandi 1999: p. 179 ("falso bustrofedismo"), fn. 92 Tibiletti Bruno 1969b: pp. 207-8, nr. 28,Tav. XIII Tibiletti Bruno 1978: p. 147).
