Commentary

Iron Age necropolis, excavated in multiple campaigns since the first graves had been found during road works in the mid-1930ies. See Cardani Vergani et al. 2011: 62 for an overview of the research history and Stöckli 1975: 22–62 on the dating, as well as Crivelli 1939.
