Commentary

Inscribed on the foot of the vessel. The first letter may be lambda or pi depending on the orientation, the second letter may be upsilon or alpha depending on whether the bar inside the chevron is intentional or not. See also Tibiletti Bruno 1966b: 209, no. 30.
