Zu Sortdate-Werten, die von archäologischen Kulturstufen abgeleitet sind, siehe Property:culture_archaeological, wo die verwendete Absolutdatierung angeführt ist.

Erläuterungen, wie einige vielleicht problematische Angaben (die nicht auf der Hauptseite erklärt sind) als Sortdate umgesetzt wurden:

"beginning" und "end" → 10% des Zeitraums von der Grenze, z.B.:
"beginning of 2nd century BC"	→ "-190"	(2. Jh.v. = 200-101 v.; -200 + 10% von 100 = -190)
"end of 5th century BC"	→ "-411" (sic!)	(5. Jh.v. = 500-401 v.; -401 - 10% von 100 = -411)
"beginning of 1st century AD"	→ "11" (sic!)	(1. Jh.n. = 1-100 n.; 1 + 10% von 100 = 11)
"end of 3rd century AD"	→ "290"	(3. Jh.v. = 201-300 v.; 300 - 10% von 100 = 290)
"beginning of the 1980's"	→ "1981"	(1980er = 1980-1989; 1980 + 10% von 10 = 1981)
"first" und "last" Untereinheiten (Plural!) → 2 Untereinheiten von der Grenze, z.B.:
"first decades of 2nd century BC"	→ "-180"	(2. Jh.v. = 200-101 v.; 200 - 2 * 10 = 180)
"last decades of 5th century BC"	→ "-421" (sic!)	(5. Jh.v. = 500-401 v.; -401 - 2 * 10 = -421)
"first decades of 1st century AD"	→ "21" (sic!)	(1. Jh.n. = 1-100 n.; 1 + 2 * 10 = 21)
"first years of the 20th century AD	→ "1903" (sic!)	(20. Jh. = 1901-2000; 1901 + 2 * 1 = 1903)
