Thematic demonstrative pronominal stem < PIE *is (nom.sg.m.) + *to- (a thematicised particle or pronominal *to-), also attested in Gaulish ison (acc.sg.m./n.), isoc (adv.) on the Chamalières tablet (RIG II.2 L-100), and Celtib. (with apheresis) śTam (acc.sg.f., MLH K.06.01), śTena (acc.pl.n., Botorrita I A3, A6) and (without apheresis) isTe (deictic particle, Botorrita I A9, A11); see Eska 1991 for a detailed discussion.
