''peles'' is clear, though the lowest bit of sigma is missing; the identification of the next letter, of which only the upper part of a hasta is left, as iota is indicated by the closeness of the next trace, also the top tip of a hasta, for which {{bib|Tibiletti Bruno 1977b}}: 114–116 suggests kappa, lambda or St. Andrew's cross. Inscribed on the bottom or wall of the fragmentary vessel. peles is clear, though the lowest bit of sigma is missing; the identification of the next letter, of which only the upper part of a hasta is left, as iota is indicated by the closeness of the next trace, also the top tip of a hasta, for which Tibiletti Bruno 1977b: 114–116 suggests kappa, lambda or St. Andrew's cross.
