At least three letters (hardly more than four all in all) inscribed on the foot of the vessel, applied before firing – a workman's signature? Only epsilon is clear; digamma is the only plausible option for the second letter, and only the bottom tip of a hasta is left of the third (read as iota by {{bib|Tibiletti Bruno 1969b}}: 229 f.). | |||
