Commentary
Referring to the text and interpretation of Lejeune 1971, the author explains the onomastic formula in question (NO·21.1) as a result of the assumption of a Roman name (presumably in consequence of the donation of Roman citizenship) and of the transformation of the indigenous name into a surname.
