Frontini's drawing shows maybe four letters damaged by a break, with two chevrons of opposing orientation in the middle. Reading ''tu''?? from Morandi, but the identification of Etruscan tau on the right is doubtful; we would maybe not expect a sinistroverse Lepontic inscription at this late date.

Commentary

Image in Frontini 1985: 188, tav. 22.7 (drawing).

Frontini's drawing shows maybe four letters damaged by a break, with two chevrons of opposing orientation in the middle. Reading tu?? from Morandi, but the identification of Etruscan tau on the right is doubtful; we would maybe not expect a sinistroverse Lepontic inscription at this late date.
