While providing the edition of an inscription excavated in 1859 in San Bernardino di Briona, attributed to Gallic on the basis of analogies with the bilingue of Todi on the alphabet and linguistic level, which is today unanimously considered Celtic.
Motivations of historical and geographic characteristics are mentioned and the affinity with "some inscriptions of North Italy, as well as with some coins from Provenza and Salassi or, according to others Helvetian coins, all with Celtic legend" (p. 4 of the article).
