Delamarre 2007: 235, 237) lists the onomastic element u̯osso- as an (archaic) variant of u̯asso- 'servant', but considering the high dating of the inscription the dental element would be expected to be spelled with san reflecting tau gallicum not yet assimilated to /ss/.
