Inscribed on the inside of the patera below the outer rim. Both characters are fragmentary; orientation and writing direction are unclear. Morandi reads (dextroverse) ui and interprets the sequence as an abbreviation of uini at the same necropolis, but the identification of the letters – specifically retrograde upsilon with a rounded bar – is highly doubtful. Probably a non-script mark.
