Inscribed close to the foot (length 2 cm); orientation and writing direction are uncertain. Morandi reads ḳi, the uncertainty about kappa probably due to the small scratch situated between its bars, which, if not unintentional, is more likely to belong to the second character, which could thus be iota or upsilon U d. Both ki and ku are (possibly) otherwise attested in the corpus and can be interpreted as abbreviations of personal names (see the word pages), though a non-script mark cannot be excluded.
