Commentary
The short sequence is most probably an abbreviation of a personal name. Gaulish names with bases in kri° (e.g. krito- 'tremble, terror', krikso- 'curly', see DLG: 129 f.) are considerably more common than ones in gri° (see AcS I: 1166–1172, 2041 f., Delamarre 2007: 77 f., 105 f.).
