Images in Giussani 1919: 16, fig. 1 (photo) and 17, fig. 2 (drawing), Morandi 2004: 236, fig. 9.25 (drawing), Motta 2000: 199, fig. 3 (photo = Stifter 2020: ?).
Inscribed in a single line within a frame running from bottom to top (length 82 cm); the neck and beginning of the head of the anthropomorphic figure are preserved on top, while the bottom end is executed with stylised feet (Piana Agostinetti 2004: 147). The inscription is thus complete (pace Tibiletti Bruno 1975: 53); no traces of a word divider or letters can be seen on the intact surface above final iota. The usual pala is not part of the text; the inscription consists in the name of the deceased (individual name + patronym) in the dative. See the word pages for details.
De Marinis & Motta 1991: 206 tentatively ascribe the stela to their type B (anthropomorphic frame closed at the bottom), but the narrowing at the neck and presence of feet indicate type C (hence the dating as given above). Morandi 2004 dates the inscription to the first half of the 4th c. BC.
