Length of inscription 3 cm. The group of six oblique scratches can be arranged into the forms rendered above (Lepontic or Latin alphabet), getting less tidy toward the left, but Stifter (p. 147) also considers aś (sinistroverse), ka (dextroverse) or non-script. The latter option is altogether most likely.
