On the right side of the fragment, the remains of two deeply incised characters: omicron and, to its left, iota or possibly pi, if a faint scratch is intentional. In the latter case, the inscription can be determined to be dextroverse; otherwise, the direction is ambiguous. Both final -oi and initial po- make plausible remains of a Celtic inscription, but the status of the scratching as a language-encoding inscription is not entirely certain. (Casini & Motta 2018: 126)
