Inscribed on the wall of the cup, orientation unclear from the images. The bar of lambda is prolonged; a large scratch after omicron is judged to be irrelevant by Morandi. The form is a masculine on-stem name, but probably Latin or Venetic rather than Celtic, where no good comparanda can be found (see the word page and cf. Morandi, also 2007: 300 f., no. 31, with decreasing confidence in a Celtic interpretation). A linguistically Latin inscription BG·36.1 was found in the same grave.
