Commentary
Attested (more or less unambiguously) in three unconnected inscriptions; quite possibly an abbreviation of a personal name in any or all of them (cf. Morandi 2003: 134, no. 16). The sequence al- appears initially in the personal names alios, alkouinos, alkouesi, and alaukos/alauki (see also the numerous Gaulish names in Delamarre 2007: 16–18); also alieis.
