Commentary

First published in Motta 2000: 207 f. sub no. 13.

The fragmentary inscription on a potsherd belongs with CO·57, CO·58 and CO·59 from the same find spot. Motta gives no details beyond the transliteration and the observation that final sigma is damaged, but since the group of inscriptions are potter's signatures, it may be assumed that the present one shares most of its properties and the text sekezos with the others.

The sequence sekezos is an o-stem personal name in the nominative; see CO·57 on the reading of zeta.
