Commentary

Patera of black-varnished ware found in the area of the San Bernardo necropolis during work on the railway; broken and incomplete according to Bianchetti 1895: 188 (no. 1). The bottom is decorated with stamps. Dating from Morandi. Assumed to be in the Sezione archeologica "Enrico Bianchetti" of the Museo del Paesaggio in Ornavasso, but currently untraceable.
