Inscribed on the foot of the vessel by the rim. St. Andrew's cross is complete; the second, damaged letter is read as epsilon by Whatmough PID: 103 f., note xvi f based on Garovaglio's drawing and also Tibiletti Bruno 1969b: 201 f., no. 22, who notes that only a very short section of the third bar is preserved.
