Commentary
The author addresses the hypothesis of an analogy between the runic funeral formula karPi bro and the "Lepontic-Ligurian" karite pruiam of the inscription of Vergiate (VA·6), and also between the Scandinavian monumental complexes and the Italian ones. Furthermore, an analysis of the meaning of bro, presumably the equivalent of Ligurian pruiam, is carried out.
