Inscribed upside-down on the wall of the cup above the bend toward the bottom; well legible despite surface damage. aruki is a personal name in the genitive; the fact that it is inscribed on five ceramic objects from (probably) the same grave (BS·12, BS·14, BS·27, BS·28) indicates that it is an owner's inscription.
