Commentary

First published in Tibiletti Bruno 1969b: 199, no. 18.

Images in Garovaglio 1877: tav. III.32 (drawing), Oberziner 1883: tav. XIX.11 (drawing copied from Garovaglio), Tibiletti Bruno 1969b: 281, tav. IX.18 (photo).

Written on the foot of the vessel; sigma and St. Andrew's cross are clear, but the thrird letter, of which only a tip is left, could be alpha or upsilon depending on the orientation. TB has sinistroverse stạ[ or stị[, Solinas 1995: 359, no. 94 h dextroverse stụ[ (also Morandi), but the opposite direction with final sigma is equally possible.
