Inscribed on the bottom of the flask just below its widest part. The direction and orientation are ambiguous with regard to the letter forms, but the ductus shows that the inscription was applied dextroverse (cf. Gambari). Only a small section is left of omicron. Gambari and Morandi compare toutiopouos, but see the word page on the root vowel. The inscription is the earliest at the Loreto necropolis, conceivably recording the name of the (male) person who was buried in the grave.
