Commentary

The Castello site is the excavation site of the Iron Age settlement of Parra, situated on the southernmost promontory of the elevated fluvial plain. See the photos in Poggiani Keller 2007: 155, fig. 141 and 142, Poggiani Keller 1985 and Parre for details.
