Commentary
First published in Pattaroni 1963: 23.
Image in Piana Agostinetti 1972: tav. XXXI.4 (drawing).
Inscribed on the foot of the vessel. The letters are evidently Latin, which is surprising with regard to the dating – the only alphabetically Latin inscription on a vaso a trottola. pa may be an abbreviation of a personal name.
