Commentary
Lexically in OIr. fo, OW, OBret. guo- etc. 'under', and attested in numerous Gaulish and Insular Celtic personal names. On the variant u̯a- in Gaulish see Koch 1992: 477–479, Schrijver 1995: 128–130. Possibly with a reflex of */p/ in the earliest attestations uvamokozis and (uncertain) uvltiauiopos.
