Found during excavations at the Waldmatte site of the Gamsen settlement. The fragment of the wall of a closed ceramic vessel – probably an olla – whose form cannot be reconstructed comes from a layer dated to LT D2B (late 1st c. BC), but may be somewhat older (Paccolat et al. 2019: 3B 622, no. 2144, 3A 285, no. 2144). Note that, in the publication, the object got mixed up with another ceramic fragment with marks on it (EX·3) in vol. 3A p. 260 and in vol. 3B in the plate.
