Whatmough read a letter ''t'' based on Garovaglio's disembodied drawing of an {{c||X}}, but the mark, which is drawn across the whole foot, is more likely to belong with similar incised or painted cross- and asterisk-shapes on the bases of ceramic vessels of the Golasecca culture (cf. {{bib|Tibiletti Bruno 1969b}}: 226 f., no. 66, Solinas "[s]egno a croce"). | |||
