Commentary
Image in Volonté 1996: 45, tav. 5.1 (drawing).
Unpainted plate imitating type Lamboglia 7/16, found during excavations in the course of the extension of a house in the hamlet San Lorenzo in 1934. One of nine excavated graves, grave 301 appears to be that of a wealthy artisan. See Volonté 1996: 33 f. on the excavation and the inventory of grave 301. The dating follows Volonté 1996: 34, who dates the grave to the late 1st c. BC / first half of the 1st c. AD; Morandi gives the late 2nd/early 1st c. BC. Classified as a patera imitating type Lamboglia 6 (Morel 1440/1630) by Della Porta et al. 1998: 219, no. 1.
