Inscribed upside-down on the wall of the cup above the bend toward the bottom; well legible despite surface damage. {{w||aruki}} is a personal name in the genitive; the fact that it is inscribed on '''five''' ceramic objects from (probably) the same grave ([[BS·12]], '''[[BS·14]]''', [[BS·27]], [[BS·28]]) indicates that it is an owner's inscription.
