Commentary
The fragmentary form can be tentatively identified as an individual name in the dative mati̯onāi̯ (rather than a patronym mationalāi̯/mationalūi̯ based on its position in the text; see the inscription page for details. The name appears to be an ā-stem derivation of an on-stem, either from the base mat(t)i- (cf. esp. mattio and mattonius [Delamarre 2007: 128]; Tibiletti Bruno 1978: 136, Motta 2000: 203) or mantī-.
