Commentary
at(t)-, cf. atilonei, ateratos, atiaki, atis (Morandi 1999: 173, fn. 75, cf. Tibiletti Bruno 1978: 144-145, Lejeune 1971: 49, 63 fn 202, DLG: 59 (Attios), Delamarre 2007: 31, 212, Sims-Williams 2003: 61, 163). Since in Giubiasco the Italic anthroponym spuris is attested, Atios could be also a gaulishised form of Lat. Aties or Attius (cf. Morandi 1999: 173, fn. 76, Marinetti 1982b: 169-181, lekatos < legatus)
