Attestation: BG·41.8 (oisapi) (1)
Language: Celtic
Word Type: proper noun

Grammatical Categories: gen. sg. masc.
Stem Class: o

Morphemic Analysis: oisap
Phonemic Analysis: unknown
Meaning: 'of/from Oisapos'

Commentary

Most probably a masculine o-stem individual name in the genitive. The base is unclear – possibly a composite with *-bii̯os 'beater', 'killer' or IE *-h3k- 'having appearance'? Cf. oisenu, also at Carona.
