The plate (imitating type Lamboglia 5/55 of black-glazed ware) comes from one of the graves which were excavated by Domenico Pini without supervision; the inventory is chronologically coherent, but possibly incomplete (Tori et al. 2004: 62, 64, Pernet et al. 2006: 290; the grave complex is described in Tori et al. 2004: 94).
