Commentary
The sequence <ae> is almost unique in Lepontic, the only other occurence is in VA-28.3 aesia. *ai is usually spelt <ai>, this may be an indication for a hiatus sequence /a.e/.
*mais(s)-ilo- (cf. Lejeune 1971: 50, 64 fn. 209, Evans 1972: 181, Tibiletti Bruno 1978: 149, Delamarre 2007: 122); < *magestu-? (Stifter 2010: 370)
