Unpainted olpe found as part of a single Roman grave on plot 618 in Canegrate. The grave was discovered by a farmer during agricultural work; it consists of a small grave chamber with the ashes and a number of objects, and ceramic grave goods west and east of the chamber. The olpe was among the objects on the western side, excavated by Sutermeister. See Sutermeister 1952 for a detailed account of the find circumstances, the grave and its furniture. Measurements of the object from Sutermeister's drawing; dating according to Volonté 1993b: 42.
