Commentary

Bowl with inward-bending rim (type 2) from grave 442 of the Giubiasco necropolis (Pernet et al. 2006: 326). The grave complex is described in Tori et al. 2004: 372 f.; on the classification of the object see Pernet et al. 2006: 221, 262, cat. 89. See also Ulrich 1914 I: 659.
The dating follows Pernet et al. 2006, who date the object to LT D/Augustan period and the coherent grave complex to LT D2. De Marinis & Biaggio Simona 2000: 462, no. 531 give the 3rd–first half of 1st century BC, Motta 2000: 210, no. 18 the 2nd–1st century BC, Morandi 2004 the late 2nd century BC.
