The on-stem personal name formed from the base lūtu- 'vigour' is also attested at nearby find places in a Latinised variant luto and maybe as lutou; cf. also CIL V 5340 lutonis at Como. See Tibiletti Bruno 1979: 263, 1981: 166, Stüber 2005: 71.
